so i just heard about the super mario galaxy movie and how it's getting pretty mixed reviews from critics. what's really interesting though is that shigeru miyamoto, the legendary creator of mario, has spoken out about the negative feedback. apparently, he's finding it all pretty confusing, which i can kinda understand.

i mean, the movie is based on one of the most beloved games of all time, and you'd think that would be a recipe for success. but i guess not everyone is a fan of the big screen adaptation. miyamoto seems to think that critics were even harder on this movie than they were on the super mario bros movie that came out last year. he's laughing it off, but you can tell he's a bit perplexed by the whole thing.

what really stands out to me is that miyamoto is saying the film industry should be championing new and different ideas, but instead they're being super harsh on this movie. it's like, shouldn't they be supporting something that's trying to bring a fresh perspective to the table? i'm not saying the movie is perfect or anything, but it's definitely interesting to see miyamoto's take on the whole situation. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're curious about the movie, you can still check it out for yourself.

personally, i'm a bit torn about the whole thing. on the one hand, i love the mario games and i think it's cool that they're trying to bring that magic to the big screen. on the other hand, i've heard some pretty mixed things about the movie, so i'm not sure what to expect. i guess i'll just have to wait and see for myself. has anyone else seenRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
