hey guys, so i just found out about the new marvel's wolverine game and i am totally stoked. it's coming out on september 15 for ps5, which is just around the corner. what's really interesting to me is that the game uses motion-capture technology to bring the characters to life, and the actor who plays wolverine, liam mcintyre, really had to dig deep to find that feral side of the character.
apparently, liam wanted to reference rabid dogs for inspiration, which is kinda dark but also really cool. but what's even more impressive is that he was able to scare the team at insomniac games with his performance, which is no easy feat. i mean, can you imagine being so intense that you freak out a whole team of game developers? that's some serious method acting right there.
from what i've heard, the game follows wolverine as he rejoins team x to take down some bad guys, including the sentinel creator bolivar trask. it sounds like it's going to be a pretty action-packed game, with wolverine slicing and dicing his way through all sorts of enemies. i'm a bit of a sucker for a good x-men story, so i'm definitely interested in checking this out. plus, the fact that the game has a more emotional side, exploring wolverine's humanity and deep-seated pain, makes it sound like it's going to be a really compelling experience.
i've also heard that the game has a bunch of cool easter eggs and costumes, which is always a bonus. and, of course, the gameplay preview looked amazing, with some really slick graphics and intense fight scenes. preorders are available at major retailers, so ifRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
