so, you guys heard about the new marathon update? it's all about spreading the love and getting players to work together. bungie's pushing out some pretty cool incentives to get solo players and teams to collaborate and finish objectives together. i'm talking rewards, and not just any rewards - we're talking cyberacme commendations that can be used to buy all sorts of goodies.

i'm really excited about the cyberacme runner reinforcement initiative, or c.a.r.r.i. for short. basically, if you and your team can finish an objective and extract yourselves at the same time, you'll get some sweet rewards. and by sweet rewards, i mean you can use those commendations to buy weapons, reputation packs, and other cool stuff from the c.a.r.r.i. armory. the only bummer is that the armory is only going to be available until the end of season 1, so we've got to make the most of it.

bungie's also introducing this new feature called stay together, which allows you to keep your team going even after you've finished a run. it's pretty cool, because you can just exfill together and then keep on playing as a crew. and if someone on your team goes down, you can use this new mercy kit consumable to revive them and potentially turn them into an ally. although, it's worth noting that mercy kits won't work on your own crew members or on yourself, so don't get too excited about that.

preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not really sure why you'd need to preorder anything since the update is already live. anyway, i'm stoked to see how this update plays out and how it'll change the way we play marathon. it's always coolRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
