so i just started playing windrose and at first, it seemed like a pretty chill survival game. i mean, you're a pirate who crash lands on a mysterious island, and all you have to worry about are some cute dodo birds and boars, right? wrong. as i soon found out, the combat in this game can be super tough, and enemies can take you down with just a couple of hits.
i quickly realized that i needed to stock up on healing items if i wanted to survive for more than a few minutes. the problem is, the game doesn't exactly give you a lot of freebies when it comes to healing. you've got to craft and loot your way to getting those precious hp-restoring items. it's not all bad, though - the fact that you have to work for your healing items makes the game feel more challenging and rewarding.
one thing that's kind of annoying is that you don't have many options for healing at the start of the game. you've got to explore and scavenge for materials to craft the things you need to stay alive. but i guess that's all part of the fun, right? preorders are available at major retailers, by the way. i'm not gonna lie, i'm pretty hooked on this game already, and i'm excited to see what other challenges and adventures it has in store for me.
anyway, if you're as into windrose as i am, you'll want to check out the guide that breaks down all the different ways to heal in the game. it's super helpful, and it'll give you a better idea of how to survive on that crazy island. i'm still figuring things out, but i'm loving the game so far, and i'm excited to see whereRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
