so i've been hearing a lot about starfield lately, and i have to admit, i was pretty stoked when it first came out back in 2023. i mean, who wouldn't want to explore a whole new galaxy, right? but, sadly, the game just didn't quite live up to my expectations. the story was kinda meh, and the gameplay got old pretty fast.

i did try to give it another shot after the big may 2024 update, but honestly, not much had changed. there were still a ton of loading screens, and the bugs were pretty annoying. i just couldn't get into it, you know? but then i heard about the new free lanes update and the terran armada dlc, and i thought, why not? maybe they've finally fixed some of the issues i had with the game.

so, i dove back in and started checking out the new stuff. the free lanes update is pretty cool, i guess. you can now fly your ship from one planet to another, which sounds awesome, but in reality, it's actually pretty boring. i mean, it's just a lot of empty space, and you can't even manually land on a planet, which is kinda lame. but, there is this one feature called cruise mode that's actually pretty sweet. it lets you fly from one planet to another on autopilot, which is way more fun than doing it manually.

i've been playing around with the new update and dlc for a bit now, and i have to say, it's still not totally winning me over. i mean, it's definitely better than it was before, but it's still not the game i was hoping for. maybe i'm just not the right audience for it, orRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
