okay, so you guys have probably heard about the new resident evil movie that's coming out, and i am super stoked about it. one thing that's been getting a lot of attention from fans is how it's different from the resident evil 2 game, which it's based on. like, the movie is set in the present day and has characters using smartphones, which is pretty different from the game's 1998 setting.

one of the coolest things about the movie, in my opinion, is the snowy setting. cregger has said that he just thought it would be really cool to have a horror movie set in the snow, and i have to agree with him. it's definitely going to give the movie a unique look and feel, and i'm excited to see how it all comes together. plus, the latest trailer has some pretty sweet easter eggs and moments that feel really resident evil, so i'm hoping that the movie is going to be a lot of fun.
i know some people might be disappointed that the movie isn't a more direct adaptation of the game, but i think cregger is making the right call. i mean, if he just did a straight adaptation, it would probably feel kind of boring and predictable. by taking some risks and trying toRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
