omg, you guys, if you're as hyped as i am for the duskbloods, a new multiplayer game from from software, you'll want to check out the website for the closed network test. basically, they're doing a playtest this month and some lucky people got picked to join in. but here's the thing - you won't get an email if you're one of the chosen ones, so you have to go to the website and dig around to find out.

to see if you made the cut, you have to navigate to the account page on the website, which is kinda hidden behind a menu on the top right. it's not super intuitive, but hey, at least it's not as frustrating as trying to beat that one level in dark souls. anyway, once you're on your account page, you'll see whether or not you got selected. if you didn't, you'll get a nice blue message telling you that you weren't picked - ouch, that stings.

so, if you are one of the lucky few, you'll be able to grab your download code starting august 18th at 6 am pt. and then the network test will run on a few different days - august 21st, 22nd, and 23rd - at various times. i'm talking like 3 am to 7 am pt, or 7 pm to 11 pm pt, that kind of thing. it's a bit weird, but hey, at least we get to play it, right? and who knows, maybe we'll finally learn more about the game, since we haven't heard much since it was announced over a year ago.
