omg, you guys, the latest call of duty news is kinda huge - modern warfare 4 is ditching the omnimovement that's been a part of the series since black ops 6 and 7. i know some of you loved it, but personally, i'm stoked to see it go. i mean, don't get me wrong, it was cool to watch pros do all those fancy wall jumps and slides, but for me, it just made the game feel way too frantic.
so, what does this mean for modern warfare 4? basically, the devs are focusing on making the movement feel faster and more fluid, without all the crazy acrobatics. they want it to feel like a "boots-on-the-ground" call of duty game, which i'm actually really into. i loved the earlier cod games, and this feels like a bit of a return to form. plus, they're still including some sweet parkour-style moves, like mantling and sliding, so it's not like the game is going to feel slow or clunky.
one of the coolest things about modern warfare 4, though, is the new progression system. you'll be able to choose your own path for prestiging, which is a total game-changer. and, unlike some other games, the campaign will be playable offline, so you can just chill and enjoy the story without needing to be connected to the internet. that's a big win in my book, especially since i love playing call of duty on the go.
modern warfare 4 is dropping on october 23, and it'll be available on pc, ps5, xbox series x|s, and switch 2. sadly, that means the old consoles are getting left behind, and warRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
