so i just heard that gta 6 is going to have basically instant load times on the ps5, and i'm not entirely sure how i feel about it. on one hand, it's awesome that we'll be able to dive into the game's version of miami and florida without having to wait forever. but on the other hand, i kind of loved the old load screens from gta 5 - they were like a little bonus feature, you know?

i remember playing gta 5 back in the day, and the load times were actually pretty long. but instead of just staring at a blank screen, we got to look at all this cool artwork featuring the game's characters and environments. it was like a little teaser for what was to come, and it made the wait feel almost worth it. and even when the game got re-released on ps5 and xbox series x|s, the loading screens were still a thing - just not as long, sadly.

apparently some people are going to miss this feature in gta 6, and i can see why. the load screens were a big part of the gta experience, and it's cool that people are nostalgic for them. i mean, you can still check out the gta 6 artwork on the game's website or download it, but it's not the same as seeing it on your tv while you wait for the game to load. and who knows, maybe the "near-instant" load times will be a game-changer - but i'm still a little sad to see the old load screens go.

so, gta 6 is coming out on november 19 for ps5 and xbox series x|s, and you can already preorder it. there are two editions available -Read more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
