so i just heard that the big boss of take-two, strauss zelnick, has been talking about ai and how it's not the end of the world. apparently, he thinks people are being way too dramatic about the whole thing. i mean, i kinda get where he's coming from - ai is just a tool, and like any tool, it can be used for good or bad.
i think what's interesting is that zelnick is saying that ai can actually help game developers with the boring stuff, like mundane tasks. that way, they can focus on the creative parts of making a game. and let's be real, who doesn't love the idea of having more time to focus on the fun stuff? it's not like ai is going to replace human developers or anything. zelnick even mentioned that elon musk is an example of someone who uses ai to help with his work, not replace him.
it's also pretty cool that zelnick is all about embracing new technology to improve the game development process. i mean, take-two is the company behind gta and other huge games, so if they're excited about ai, that's gotta count for something. and who knows, maybe we'll see some amazing new games come out of this. preorders are available at major retailers, so i'm guessing we'll hear more about their upcoming projects soon.
anyway, it's nice to see someone in the gaming industry being all positive and realistic about ai. i'm not saying i'm an expert or anything, but it seems like zelnick is just trying to calm everyone down and remind us that ai is just a tool. and yeah, it can be used for bad things, but so can a lot of other things. it's allRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
