omg, you guys, it's that time of the year again - may the 4th is just around the corner, and fortnite is going all out to celebrate it. this year, they're doing something really cool - they're hosting a special screening of the upcoming star wars movie, the mandalorian and grogu, right inside the game. i mean, how awesome is that?
so, here's the deal - on may 19th, players can head over to this special watch party island, where they'll get to see a sneak peek of the movie. and we're not just talking about a tiny teaser trailer or anything - we're talking about a full 10 minutes of footage from the actual film. that's like, a pretty big deal, if you ask me. plus, the director, jon favreau, is going to be making a special appearance with a message for all the fans.
but that's not all, folks - there's also going to be a special mandalorian-themed mission that we can play through. it's set on nevarro, and we get to play as a deputy who's all about collecting bounties and defending the city from bad guys. the goal is to find grogu, which sounds like a pretty fun challenge to me. and if we log in at least 20 minutes of playtime, we'll even get a sweet new loading screen to show off.
