omg, you guys, i just heard that the fable reboot might be delayed, and i'm not sure how to feel about it. apparently, microsoft is a bit worried about releasing it around the same time as gta 6, which is scheduled to come out on november 19. i mean, who can blame them? gta 6 is going to be huge, and it's probably going to overshadow a lot of other games.

so, allegedly, the developers at playground are still trying to get fable out this year, but there's a chance it might get pushed to 2027. i'm not sure what to make of this, because on the one hand, i really want to play fable as soon as possible. on the other hand, if it needs a bit more time to be polished and perfect, then i'm okay with waiting. i just wish we had some more solid information, you know? right now, everything is just rumors and speculation.

apparently, some reporter named jeff grubb is the one who spilled the beans about the possible delay. he said that the team is "worried about the launch of gta 6", which makes sense, i guess. i mean, gta 6 is going to be a massive deal, and it's going to be hard for any other game to compete with it. but at the same time, fable is a really beloved franchise, and i think it can hold its own. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as excited as i am, you can already reserve your copy.
