omg, you guys, i just got the scoop on the upcoming game resonance: a plague tale legacy, and i am beyond excited. the game drops on august 27 for ps5, xbox series x/s, and pc, and it's also coming to game pass on day one, which is pretty cool. but what really caught my attention is the game's score, which is being done by olivier deriviere - you might know him from his work on assassin's creed: black flag or streets of rage 4.

i love that the score has a greek-cypriot vibe, it's so unique and intriguing. apparently, deriviere worked with a choir of 20 female vocalists to create this authentic sound, and it's really something special. the track that premiered, called "patera", is all about the connection between a child and their father, and it's really emotional. i can already imagine how immersive the game is going to be with this kind of music.

what's interesting is that resonance: a plague tale legacy is supposed to be quite different from the other games in the series, so the score had to be different too. i've heard that the combat is similar to assassin's creed, which is pretty cool. i'm not sure what to expect from the game, but i'm definitely curious. the fact that it's coming to game pass on day one is a great bonus, since i can just jump in and try it out without committing to a purchase.

preorders are available at major retailers, if you're already sold on the game. i'm still on the fence, but that premiere track has me leaning towards checking it out. has anyone else heard about this game? what do you think about the greek-cypriotRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
