so i've been hearing some pretty meh news about fortnite crew lately. basically, epic games has been making some changes that are supposedly making the whole subscription thing less valuable to us players. and honestly, it's kinda disappointing. i mean, i loved the idea of getting a skin and some v-bucks every month, plus access to all those cool passes like the battle pass and the lego pass.
but here's the thing - epic raised the prices in fortnite a while back, which already made the crew subscription a bit less of a good deal. and now it seems like they're making those passes last longer, which might not seem like a big deal at first, but actually makes a pretty big difference. see, if you're paying the same amount every month for the subscription, you want to get as much value out of it as possible, right? so if you can get through, like, six lego passes in a year, that's way better than only getting three of them.
i guess what i'm trying to say is, the value of fortnite crew is all about how many of those sweet passes you can get your hands on. and if they're making them last longer, that means we're not getting as many of them. which, let's be real, is kinda lame. i mean, i'm still gonna keep playing fortnite and all, but it's just not as exciting when you feel like you're not getting the most out of your subscription. and it's not like the price is going down or anything - it's still 12 bucks a month, which is pretty steep if you ask me.
anyway, i thought it was worth mentioning, since some of you guys might be subscribed to fortnite crew like me. preRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
