omg, you guys, the next dragon ball game is finally confirmed and it's exactly what we all thought it would be - dragon ball xenoverse 3. i've been waiting for this announcement for ages, and now that it's here, i can barely contain my excitement.

so, basically, bandai namco had been teasing this new game under the working title "age 1,000" and we all suspected it was the next xenoverse game. now we know for sure, and it's coming to pc, ps5, and xbox series x|s in 2027. i'm a bit sad it's still so far away, but at least we have a release window to look forward to.

the game takes place in the distant future, which is a pretty cool twist. we'll get to explore west city as a member of the great saiyans squad, protecting it from all sorts of threats. and the best part? akira toriyama, the creator of dragon ball, was involved in shaping the story and creating this new world for us to play in. it's going to be a completely new experience, separate from the previous xenoverse games.

from what we can gather, the story is going to be pretty epic. goku and the z warriors are presumably long gone, but with sci-fi tech and dragon balls that can bring people back from the dead, no one stays dead for long. the trailer hints at a whole new storyline, and i am so down for it. also, if you're still playing dragon ball xenoverse 2, don't worry - the final dlc pack is coming this summer, so you'll have something to look forward to before xenoverse 3 drops.
