so i just heard that pokemon champions is out on the nintendo switch and switch 2, and i'm pretty stoked about it. it's a free-to-start game, which is awesome because you can just dive right in and start playing without having to drop any cash. from what i've seen, it's all about quick online battles with other players from all over the world, which sounds like a total blast.

i was a bit worried that i'd need to have a nintendo switch online account to play, but luckily that's not the case. all you need is an internet connection and you're good to go. it's pretty cool that they're not making you pay for online multiplayer, like some other games do. i mean, it's not like pokemon unite, fortnite, or rocket league, which also don't require a subscription to play online.

one of the best things about pokemon champions is that there's no gated content, so you can access all the online multiplayer modes without having to shell out for a nintendo switch online membership. i think that's really great, because it means that everyone can play together, regardless of whether they have a subscription or not. it's all about the love of pokemon, you know?

preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in checking it out. i'm definitely thinking about giving it a try, just because it looks like so much fun. i love the idea of being able to battle other players online, and i'm sure it'll be a great way to meet other pokemon fans. has anyone else had a chance to play pokemon champions yet? what do you think of it so far?Read more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
