so you know how in diablo 4, you have to say goodbye to your favorite characters at the end of each season? it's pretty heartbreaking, especially if you've spent hours grinding and perfecting your build. but blizzard just announced that they're changing the game with a new feature called rebirth, which lets you convert your eternal realm characters into seasonal ones.
i'm super stoked about this, because it means i can keep playing my main character without having to worry about them getting stuck in the eternal realm. with rebirth, my character's level will reset to one, but i'll get to keep all my cosmetic preferences, like my transmogs and mounts. it's basically like getting a fresh start, but with all the memories and experience of my original character.
now, there is a catch - all my equipped gear and inventory will be lost when i use rebirth. but blizzard is giving us a warning screen before we confirm, so we can stash our gear in the eternal realm before making the switch. it's not a huge deal, since i can always farm for new gear, but it's still a bit of a bummer. overall, though, i think rebirth is a game-changer for diablo 4, and i'm excited to see how it plays out in season 15.
speaking of season 15, blizzard is also adding some iconic items from past diablo games, like the stone of jordan from diablo 2. i love that they're bringing back some of these classic items, it's like a little nod to the fans who have been playing the series for years. and with new overland activities like challenge dungeons and open-world ambushes, season 15 is shaping up to be pretty epic.Read more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
