oh my gosh, you guys, i just found out about this crazy thing in crimson desert. so, basically, the game gives you a ton of freedom to explore and play how you want, which is awesome. but, apparently, that freedom can also get you into trouble if you're not careful. players are warning each other not to pick up certain items too early, or you might break entire questlines.

i mean, can you imagine finally getting to a point in the game where you're supposed to collect some super important item, only to realize you already picked it up hours ago and now the whole quest is ruined? that's basically what's happening to some people in crimson desert. for example, there's this one item called the fruit of life that you're supposed to collect during a specific mission. but if you pick it up too early, the game gets all confused and you can't complete the quest.

it's not just that one item, either. there are a bunch of different questlines that can get broken if you collect or sell the wrong things at the wrong time. i've heard of people selling a flower basket before they were supposed to, and then not being able to complete a whole questline. or, like, picking up a note before turning in a bounty, and then not being able to do a treasure hunt quest. it's like, there's a whole order of operations that you need to follow, or else things just don't work out.
