omg, you guys, there's some serious excitement brewing in the call of duty universe - specifically, with the upcoming season 3 reloaded update for black ops 7. apparently, we're getting a brand new zombies map, and i am totally stoked. it's called totenreich, and from what i've seen so far, it looks like it's going to be a total throwback to the original zombies vibes that we all know and love.

so, totenreich is set in this creepy norwegian fishing town that's just overrun with undead. and, as you'd expect, it's got some deep ties to the whole richtofen and group 935 storyline - you know, the usual zombies lore suspects. but what's really cool is that it's also connected to that epic origins map from black ops 2, with the giant robot and all that jazz. i'm loving the fact that treyarch is digging back into the archives like this, and i'm hoping it means we'll get some more of that classic zombies feel.

now, i know some of you might be wondering how this new map fits into the whole dark aether thing - you know, that supernatural Bermuda triangle that's been pulling in characters and locations from all over the place. well, supposedly totenreich is from the wwii era, which is pretty interesting. i mean, we've seen some wild stuff in the dark aether so far, but this just adds another layer to the whole mystery. and, of course, the fact that it's set in this specific time period just adds to the whole richtofen timeline, which i am totally here for.
