okay, so it's no secret that capcom is having an amazing year, and it's all thanks to their awesome game releases. i mean, who doesn't love a good resident evil game? their latest one, resident evil requiem, has been doing incredibly well, selling over a million copies just in the last quarter. that brings the total to over 8 million units sold since it came out in february, which is pretty mind-blowing.

but what's really interesting is that it's actually one of the lower-selling resident evil games, with the remakes of 2, 3, and 4 selling even more. still, it's helped the franchise as a whole reach a crazy 213 million units sold, which is just wow. i'm a huge fan of the series, and it's awesome to see it doing so well. plus, it's not just old favorites that are doing well - capcom's new game, pragmata, is also killing it, with over 2.5 million copies sold since its release in april.
