so, you guys know how resident evil requiem has been out for a bit now, and like, modders just can't seem to get enough of it, right? well, it turns out some of those mods have gotten a bit too naughty for capcom's taste. apparently, there have been a ton of mods showing off the main characters in, uh, not-so-much clothing, and some of them even had mustaches - yeah, i don't know what to say about that either.

anyway, it seems like one youtuber in particular, grizzouk, has been sharing a lot of these mods on his channel, with over a thousand videos showcasing them. and, well, capcom finally caught wind of it and wasn't too happy. they sent him an email telling him to take down all those videos, which is pretty understandable, i guess. i mean, i love a good mod as much as the next person, but some of this stuff is just, wow.

so, grizzouk got a notice from capcom's legal team, and he even shared the email in one of his streams. apparently, his channel got temporarily shut down after that, which is pretty wild. but it's back up now, and he's still gonna be posting content, just not about resident evil requiem mods, sadly. he said he'll still be doing mods for other games like stellar blade and tomb raider, though, so that's something to look forward to, i suppose.
