so, it's basically official now - call of duty: warzone is getting the boot on ps4 and xbox one. i'm not super surprised, to be honest, but it's still a bit of a bummer for anyone who's still rocking those consoles. i mean, i know some people are still playing on older systems, and it's always a shame when games get left behind like this.

activision just announced that warzone will be delisted on ps4 and xbox one starting june 4, which means you won't be able to download it anymore if you don't already have it. but, on the bright side, if you do have it, you can still keep playing until... well, until who knows when, really. they're not shutting down the servers just yet, at least. and, as a bonus, any call of duty points you've got will still be tied to your account, so you won't lose those even if you switch to a newer console.

it's also worth noting that the in-game store is getting axed on june 25, so if you want to buy any last-minute stuff, you'd better do it soon. that being said, you'll still be able to progress through the free battle pass, which is kinda cool, i guess. i'm not a huge call of duty fan myself, but i know some people are, and it's nice that they're not just completely cutting everyone off.

so, what does this all mean for the future of warzone? well, apparently, when modern warfare 4 launches on october 23, we can expect to see some new content from that game popping up in warzone. which, i guess, is a good thing for people who are still playingRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
