omg, you guys, the classic call of duty games are back. well, sort of. they're not remakes or anything fancy like that, just the original black ops 1 and 2, but now you can play them on your shiny new ps5. i'm low-key excited about this, mostly because i'm a total sucker for retro games and the nostalgia is real.

so, here's the deal - these ports are available now on both ps4 and ps5, which is pretty cool. the price might be a bit steep for some people, though - they're charging $40 per game. but, if you're a playstation plus member, you can snag them for half that until august 6, which is a pretty sweet deal. just don't expect to get a bundle that includes both games, because that's not a thing.

i'm a bit disappointed that they didn't include cross-platform multiplayer, but i guess that's just not what these ports are about. they're more about giving you that old-school call of duty experience, which is still pretty awesome. and, if you want even more content, you can grab the season passes for each game, which include extra multiplayer maps and zombies stuff. those are $30 each, or $10 for playstation plus members, until august 6.
