omg, you guys, have you heard about beast of reincarnation? it's this adorable new action-rpg from game freak, the same devs behind the pokemon games. i'm super stoked to see what they've been working on, and it's finally almost here - the game drops on august 4 for ps5 and xbox.

so, preorders are live now, and you can grab the standard edition for $60 or the deluxe edition for $70, but only on ps5, sadly. preorders are available at major retailers, which is pretty convenient. i'm thinking of grabbing the standard edition myself, just because i'm not sure if the extra $10 is worth it for me, but we'll see.

one thing that's pretty cool is that if you do preorder, you'll get some bonus goodies - a brown shiba skin for your wolf companion, koo, and 30,000 amber, which is the in-game currency. i love that they're including a special skin, it's such a cute touch. and the amber will definitely come in handy, i'm sure. i'm a bit curious to learn more about the gameplay and story, but so far, it seems like it's going to be a really fun, one-person, one-dog adventure.

i'm really hoping this game lives up to my expectations, since i've been a huge fan of game freak's work on pokemon. but at the same time, it's exciting to see them branching out and trying something new. the whole reincarnation theme has me intrigued, and i love the idea of exploring a new world with my trusty wolf sidekick. august 4 can't come soon enough, am i right?Read more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
