okay, so you guys know how much i love a good battlefield game, and it looks like season 3 of battlefield 6 is going to be pretty epic. apparently, it's dropping next month and it's bringing a brand new map - or at least, a reimagined version of an old favorite. they're calling it railway to golmud, and it's basically a revamped version of the golmud railway map from battlefield 4.

i'm actually really excited about this, because i've heard so many great things about the original map, but i never got to play it myself. from what i've seen, the new version is going to be the largest map in the game so far, which is pretty cool. and the best part is, the developers have been working with some of the original level artists to bring it to life in a whole new way. they're saying it's a "tribute to the veteran battlefield community", which is a pretty nice touch.

one of the biggest changes they're making is to the train, which was a huge part of the original map. i don't know all the details yet, but apparently they're using new technology to make it way more realistic and immersive. the level designer, luka grepl-malmgren, said something about how they can finally bring some of the ideas they had 13 years ago to life, which sounds pretty promising to me.

preorders are available at major retailers, and i'm definitely considering picking it up. i love the idea of exploring a classic map in a whole new way, and i'm curious to see how all the changes come together. has anyone else heard about this, or is it just me who's excited? let me know what you think - are you guys planning onRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
