omg, have you guys heard about the latest stunt inspired by assassin's creed? it's literally the wildest thing i've seen in a while - a group of athletes trying to recreate the infamous leap of faith in real life. you know, that iconic move where you jump off a super tall structure and somehow manage to land safely in a pile of hay? yeah, it's just as crazy as it sounds.
so, apparently red bull gaming organized this whole thing ahead of the release of assassin's creed: black flag resynced. they took a bunch of athletes to some tropical location and had them attempt to pull off edward kenway's signature leaps from the game. i mean, can you even imagine being part of something like that? the challenges they faced were pretty intense - jumping off a cliff into the ocean, leaping from a pirate ship, falling into a pile of sand, and of course, the classic leap of faith into hay.
i was a bit worried when i heard about the whole thing, to be honest. i mean, these people were literally risking their lives to recreate a video game stunt. but luckily, everything seemed to go smoothly, despite a few close calls. the highest jump was from 12 meters, and one of the athletes came super close to missing the sand pile entirely. and then, to top it all off, they did a final leap of faith from 18 meters in full assassin's creed cosplay - talk about commitment.
