omg, you guys, animal crossing: new horizons just got a brand new update and i am so stoked. it's been 25 years since the animal crossing franchise first came out, and to celebrate, nintendo is giving us a bunch of cool stuff. the update is available for both the nintendo switch and the new nintendo switch 2, so no matter which one you have, you can join in on the fun.
so, what's in the update? well, first of all, there are some bug fixes, which is always a good thing. but the really cool part is the anniversary gift that nintendo is giving us. if you download the update, you'll get a special item called the leaf statue, which is designed to look like the animal crossing leaf icon. it's actually really cute, and it's even lit up, which is a nice touch. you can find it in your in-game mailbox, along with a thank-you note from nintendo.
i love that the letter is designed to look like it came from the original animal crossing game, which was released on the nintendo 64 back in 2001. it's such a nice nod to the history of the franchise, and it makes me feel all nostalgic. the fact that the update came out on the same day as the original game's release date is just the cherry on top. it's clear that nintendo put some thought into this update, and it's a great way to celebrate such a big milestone.
preorders aren't really a thing in this case, since it's just an update, but if you haven't already, you can get animal crossing: new horizons at major retailers. anyway, i'm super excited to check out the new update and see whatRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
