you know, it's pretty wild to see people actively rooting for games to fail, and i'm not the only one who thinks so - elias toufexis, the voice actor behind deus ex's adam jensen, recently shared his thoughts on the matter. basically, he's just really confused as to why some people are so invested in hating on games, especially when it comes to stuff like marathon and destiny 2.

i mean, i get it, not every game is going to be for everyone, and that's totally okay. but when people start sending hate and vitriol towards developers and actors, that's just not cool. toufexis himself has been on the receiving end of some pretty nasty comments, and he's had to learn to just not engage with it. which, honestly, is probably for the best - i mean, who needs that kind of negativity in their life?

one thing that really stood out to me was when toufexis talked about how some people are accusing bungie of having a "woke leftist ideology" or whatever, and he's just like... where is this even coming from? the guy is working with a team of mostly white people, and he's just not getting where all the outrage is coming from. and that's what gets me, too - it feels like some people are just looking for something to be angry about, and they're not even really considering the facts.
