so, you guys know how world of warcraft just got that new housing feature with the midnight expansion, right? it's pretty cool, i mean, who doesn't want to decorate their own little virtual home in azyrth. but, blizzard just took it to a whole new level - they're now selling home exteriors for a whopping $40. like, i get it, some people are willing to pay for that kind of customization, but it's still a bit steep if you ask me.

i remember when they first started selling housing items for real money back in february, it was all pretty affordable. they had these cute little plushies that you could use to decorate your home, and they were pretty cheap. but, of course, that didn't last long. by march, they were already selling individual trees for a pretty penny - 750 hearthsteel, which is like $7.50. and let's not forget the expensive bundle they had, which just seemed crazy to me.

apparently, a lot of players were just as shocked as i was, because there was a big outcry over the prices. and, somewhat surprisingly, blizzard actually listened - they ended up cutting the prices. but, now they're back at it again with these $40 home exteriors. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how the community reacts to this one. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in checking it out.
