so, you guys know how much i adore sneaky stealth games, right? well, it looks like we've got a new game coming out that's basically the spiritual successor to the classic thief series. it's called thick as thieves, and it's from warren spector's studio, otherside entertainment - you know, the guy behind deus ex. i'm super stoked to see what they've come up with.
apparently, the game is all about mastering the art of thievery, and it's got both single-player and co-op modes, which is a huge plus in my book. the story takes place in this alternate timeline in a city called kilcairn, and when it launches on may 20, we'll get to explore two dynamic maps with 16 missions to complete. that's a pretty sweet deal, especially considering the price tag - just $5 to get in on the ground floor. i mean, what's not to love about that?
i'm also really excited to see how the game develops over time, since the devs are planning to add more content based on player feedback. that's always a great sign, in my opinion - it shows they're actually listening to their community and care about making the game the best it can be. and with six pieces of gear to collect, i'm sure we'll all have plenty to keep us busy. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're as hyped as i am.
anyway, i just wanted to share my thoughts on this new game - i think it's got a lot of potential, and i'm definitely planning to check it out when it launches next month. has anyone else heard about thick as thieves, or are you guys just as surprised as i was?Read more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
