oh my gosh, you guys - if you're as obsessed with death stranding as i am, you'll be stoked to hear that the official novelization of death stranding 2 is now available for preorder. i mean, who doesn't love a good book adaptation of their fave game? the novel is called "on the beach" and it's set to release on october 20, 2026, so we've still got a bit of a wait ahead of us.

i'm super excited to dive into this book, especially since it's written by hitori nojima and translated by carley radford - the same team that worked on the novelization of the first game. from what i've heard, this book picks up where sam porter bridges left off after restoring america, and it sounds like it's going to be a wild ride. sam's on a mission to save humanity from extinction, and he's traveling all over the place - from mexico to australia - to make it happen.

one thing that's got me a bit curious is that this novel is being billed as "volume 1", which suggests that there's going to be at least one more book to follow. i'm not complaining, though - the first volume is already a hefty 336 pages, so i'm sure we'll get plenty of story out of this one. and at $19 for the paperback, it's not a bad deal at all. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're interested, you can go ahead and snag your copy now.

i've got to say, i'm a bit of a sucker for physical copies of books and games, so i'm loving that this novel is going to be available in paperback. it'll look so cuteRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
