so i just heard about project blackbird, this mmo that was supposed to be a crazy mix of cyberpunk 2077 and destiny - i mean, can you even imagine how awesome that would've been? it's like, the perfect blend of sci-fi and action, and i'm totally bummed that it got canceled.

apparently, the reason it got axed was because of financial stuff, which is just so frustrating. i mean, i get that games are a business and all, but it's hard not to take it personally when something you're really excited about gets shut down. the director, matt firor, was talking about how it was a tough decision, but he understood why it happened - he even said it was the game he'd been waiting his whole career to make, which is just heartbreaking.

i can kinda relate, though - i've been in situations where something i was really passionate about didn't work out, and it's just the worst feeling. but at the same time, i'm trying to be optimistic and hope that maybe someday we'll see something similar come out. maybe the devs will take the ideas they had for project blackbird and turn them into something new and even better.

anyway, it's just a bummer that project blackbird is no more, but i'm hoping that the devs will bounce back and create something amazing soon. preorders are available at major retailers for other upcoming games, so maybe we'll find something to fill the void left by project blackbird.

i don't know, maybe i'm just being too emotional about this, but it's just really disappointing when games that sound this cool get canceled. does anyone else feel the same way, or am i just being a total gamer girl and getting too attachedRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
