omg, you guys, have you heard the news about the michael jackson movie getting a blu-ray release? i'm beyond stoked, and it's not just because i'm a huge fan of the king of pop - the blu-ray editions themselves are going to be totally stunning. apparently, there are two steelbook editions available, one exclusive to amazon and the other to walmart, and they're both priced at $35.

i have to say, i'm loving the sound of these steelbook editions - the amazon one features a super stylized image of michael jackson in one of his iconic touring outfits, and the slipcase cover is removable so you can see more of the illustration. it's like, the perfect collectible for any mj fan. and the rear cover shows pics of jackson throughout his different musical phases, from billie jean to thriller, which is just so cool.

the Walmart edition is also going to be a steelbook, and while we don't have all the details on it yet, i'm sure it'll be just as awesome as the amazon one. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as excited as i am, you can already secure your copy. one thing to note is that the release date is still tbc, but at least we know the price - $35 for either of the 4k steelbook editions.
