so i just heard about the new steam controller and i'm pretty curious about it. basically, valve is coming out with a new controller that's supposed to be a major upgrade from their previous attempt. i mean, we all know how experimental their first controller was, but it looks like they've taken a lot of what they learned from the steam deck and applied it to this new design.
i've been reading about how the new steam controller feels really similar to the steam deck, which is pretty cool. i love my steam deck, it's literally the best thing since sliced bread for playing pc games on the go. so if the controller has that same vibe, i'm definitely down to try it out. apparently it looks pretty similar too, which makes sense given that valve seems to be establishing a pretty strong design aesthetic across their products.
one thing that's got me a bit hesitant, though, is the price. i haven't seen an official price point yet, but from what i've heard, it's going to be pretty steep. i mean, i know valve is all about quality and innovation, but as a gamer on a budget, it's hard not to wince at the thought of shelling out top dollar for a controller. preorders are available at major retailers, so i guess we'll just have to wait and see if it's worth the cost.
i'm also wondering what kind of games and modes this controller will be compatible with. will it work seamlessly with all my favorite steam games, or are there going to be some limitations? i've heard that valve is really focused on making this controller a premium gaming experience, so i'm hoping it'll be able to handle everything from retro arcade games to the latest aaa titles. guess we'll just have to wait and seeRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
