omg, you guys, have you heard about the latest collab between square-enix and asahi? it's literally the most random thing i've ever seen - sephiroth from final fantasy vii has teamed up with asahi to promote their new canned drink, mirai no lemon sour. i mean, who wouldn't want to see the infamous villain sipping on a lemon sour?

apparently, asahi introduced this drink in japan back in 2024, and it's been gaining popularity since then. what's unique about it is that it comes with an actual lemon slice crammed into every can - like, how do they even do that? when you open the can, the lemon slice floats up to the surface, flavoring your drink. it's pretty cool, and i can see why it's been a hit.

so, what's sephiroth's role in all this? well, his famous sword, the masamune, makes a perfect cameo appearance in the promo - he uses it to chop up those lemons, and then he enjoys a sip of the drink. i have to admit, it's kind of hilarious to see him doing something so... ordinary. i mean, we're used to seeing him as this intense, brooding villain, but here he is, just chillin' with a lemon sour.
