omg, you guys, there's a rumor going around that the studio behind kingdom come is making a new lord of the rings game and i am totally freaking out. i mean, can you even imagine how epic that would be? the lord of the rings is like, my favorite fantasy series of all time, and the thought of a new rpg set in middle earth is giving me all the feels.

so, apparently the devs at warhorse were asked about the rumor during a reddit ama, and they didn't exactly confirm or deny it. they just said that they're working on a new game and that it's going to be a huge, immersive rpg. which, let's be real, sounds pretty amazing. they also mentioned that they're sticking with the rpg genre, which is no surprise given how well they did with kingdom come.

i'm really curious to see what warhorse comes up with next, and i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's indeed a lord of the rings game. i mean, they've already shown that they can handle complex, realistic worlds and deep storytelling, so i think they'd be a great fit for the franchise. plus, can you imagine the possibilities? exploring middle earth, fighting orcs and trolls, visiting rivendell and minas tirith... it's like, my dream game.
